Getting Here

We are located in Rockland, on Maine's mid-coast, less than 2 hours north of Portland, one and a half hours south of Bangor, 4 hours northeast of Boston, MA, and 9 hours southeast of Montreal, Canada.

From the South: Take 95 North all the way to Augusta and then take Route 17 East to Rockland, where it will join with Route 1A. Turn right on Route 1A (Broadway), and then left on Route 1 North (Park Street) toward the harbor.

At your second light (where Main Street goes left one-way), turn right on Route 73 going south. Proceed south on 73 and at the first "Y" in the road, veer left onto Water Street, and then take your first left (at the stop sign) onto Ocean Drive. (When you see the gazebo turn left.) You will see the Schooner Nathaniel Bowditch at the MBNA dock.

From the North: Follow Route 1 South into Rockland, past Walmart and Home Depot. After several lights, you'll come to the light (McDonald's on your right) for the Route 1A-Bypass where you'll turn right (this is Route1A/17). Continue straight through the light by the shopping plaza and take a left onto Broadway (Route 1A) at the flashing yellow light. Continue on Broadway through several more lights until you reach the light at Route 1 North (Park Street). At the light, turn left, toward the harbor.
